THE IMPONDERABILIA OF EVERYDAY EXISTENCE

A Thumbs up

Yesterday I met my guide on the way to her office and she postponed our meeting for today. As I waited in her room, the research assistant played some Lady Antebellum which helped me relax a bit. Skimming through the first chapter, when she finally opened her mouth it was everything I wanted to hear. Here is a gist of our discussion:
  • I was headed in the right direction.
  • I could go home and write from there itself.
  • The best part was when she told me I should make sure I am back by April. Yes you heard that right, April!!
Here I was thinking of stretching my stay for all of January and now I have my options open. I will not be capitalizing on the grace period though because I want to spend spring on campus. It will be my last spring here so I need to soak in all the beautiful colours that JNU has to offer between Feb-March. Next week this time, I’ll be headed home again. Cheers.
