I landed in Singapore at 7:20 am and immigration was a breeze. Although the idea was to give Star a surprise she seems to have got a whiff already so it didn't really turn out as expected. Never mind about that though. In my first day itself I shopped worth four shoes, two bags, two pants, a shirt and tit bits already. Phewww! I was supposed to stick to a budget but it seems to have gone hay wire.
My first impression of the city, well the thought hasn't sunk in yet. I feel no different than I was in my hostel room. I cannot believe it has been a year since my last trip out of the country. The whole year has gone by so quickly, there hasn't been enough time to cope with the changes. Tomorrow we are headed to the zoo. It should be a good experience after spending my childhood chasing non-existent animals in the Indian sun.
