Thank you lord for this extra day!
Sometimes twenty four hours in a day seems less so an additional day in the calendar is a boon in disguise. I am suppposed to wrap up my second chapter by midnight and am only 70 percent done with it so far. Watching season five of HIMYM on the side is not helping either. Yesterday I met a batch-mate and she tells me she is still working on her first chapter. In many ways that made me relax a bit. Maybe I push myself too far at times. I have always been known to be chasing some deadline or the other. The last time I remember enjoying a holiday sans deadline was the trip to Koh Samed. Once this research is over and I have a hard bound dissertation lying on my table, there'll be something else to work towards for sure.

Yesterday I also ended up going to the bookshop in the mall behind my hostel. I saw quite a number of books I wanted to read but there is just no time for it right now. A book that caught my eye was Emma by Jane Austen; and then there were others as well, like Gandhi's autobiography titled 'My experiments with truth', Nandan Nilekani's new book, Three sisters by Bi Feiyu and poems by Robert Burns. It has been a long cherished dream to have a nice book shelf someday to house all these reads and more.
Before the day gets any shorter, it is time to get back to articles on suicide. I hope I complete the 30 percent soon enough. Wish me luck!
