It's a Sunday. A boring one at that. I am sitting in my room wondering what could I possibly write about in today's post? The sun is out and the western disturbances seem to be giving way to the summer heat. The weather is perfect for an outing, a picnic, a get together, anything to keep one from staying indoors.
My Saturday night was spent in a pub in the suburbs. The place had awesome music and, although involuntary, I enjoyed my time there. In the company of some seniors, I couldn't help reflecting over the scene unfolding before my eyes. This proclivity to ponder increases as the years go by. People seem so content living lightly. It is time to draw some inspiration from such folks. Also, I had the opportunity to meet a determined person who seems genuine in his aim to succeed at what he strives for. I have been putting in my share of hard work but it doesn't seem to suffice just yet. With just about two months left for my final dose of coursework, the time to focus is here.
Today I have to complete my assignment with the submission following the next day. I also have a presentation lined up for my optional paper. Last week when two other students gave their presentation, I thought to myself "My presentation is going to be so awesome, it's not even funny". I think this positive approach is what I need to keep the wheels turning. After two weeks of celebrations, it is finally time to get some work done.
