THE IMPONDERABILIA OF EVERYDAY EXISTENCE

The power of an ice cube

A perfect day partially wasted.

The beginning was good. Breakfast, followed by lunch and hours of microsoft word thrown in between. I slept off around 3 pm due to a heavy dose of cough syrup and pills. My deep voice could have attracted some attention had it not been for my running nose, which spoils the temptation. It is a new month altogether and I have to cover ground for all the lack lustre effort I have put in towards my coursework for the semester. For now I am headed to dinner at an undecided venue. With a throbbing headache I am aiming to go out. Staying indoors and moaning over the sickness would be of no use, therefore time to smell the fresh air and, hopefully, turn the sickness around.

Sickness. I have never been someone to fall easy prey to this. Somehow I have been rather weak in the past few months. This one though is the worst, second after the terrible backache I had to endure last month. The weather is an absolute blessing for the capital. An early morning flight back to university and a quick gulp of ice water. One ice cube was all it took for me to get to this condition.

Happy March!
