Tonight there is this suppressed desire to make a phone call but it won’t be happening anytime soon. From needy to the needed- what a journey!
It started with the movie ‘500 Days of Summer’. In the opening scene, a voice booms in the background “This is the story of a boy and girl, but this is not a love story.” How can you have an entire movie based on the two and not expect cupid guest starring in it? But it was. You were there. I was there. We were the protagonists. I lived every scene as it unfolded through the course of the movie. Autumn comes. Summer goes. She reminded me of you. Which is why I sit here thinking tonight. Summer is here and the degrees add to each other. Sitting on the balcony railing, with the cool breeze rustling as it passes through my hair, I am filled with a feeling I am yet to find a term for.
When will autumn arrive?
