I got a text from my boyfriend
telling me that there are many people in the studio tonight. The atmosphere has
got to be lively with singing, dancing, chatting etc. I love everything about
that place. And the best part happens to be that it is just thirty steps away
from my house. Unfortunately, it was absolutely necessary to be here this week
so I couldn’t shove it in the background. As a result, I am a little sad and
lonely tonight :((
Overriding this sadness though is a goodbye I said today.
Goodbye to my Red Riding Hood. My bicycle of two years in this very campus. It
was a moment of realization; that yet another phase of my life is perhaps over.
Now I am lying in bed deciding between the latest True Blood episode and the
Aravind Adiga book. Compromises. Sighhh.
