Munich is Blue tonight

Some four years ago I had written a post called 'Moscow painted blue' but ofcourse it didn't end as expected. Well today Munich is indeed blue. Quite a number of people have been wishing me for my paper tomorrow. Little do they know that, instead of some last minute general knowledge check, I spent the evening watching my team struggle with a stronger German side to finally lift the most prestigious title of Europe – The Champions League! We have waited four years for this historic moment. The one cup that hadn’t graced our trophy stands yet. My heartfelt condolences to Spurs as they are now officially out of the European League for the next season. The Munich game was a reflection of our semi-final with Barca. They had ample opportunities including loads of corners, yet all they could manage was a header by Mueller in the 83^rd minute. Just when we expected the game to be over anytime soon, Drogba came up with a beautiful header in the 88^th minute. That marked our fight back. Post the extra time, penalties came up. The Terry miss in the 2008 finals in Moscow is a tearful reminder of what could lie ahead, but despite the Mata miss tonight we managed to get back in the game yet again and, before we knew it, Drogba took the final penalty to give us our first Champions League trophy!

What a game! And what awesome company! I was tired of watching matches all by myself so going out tonight was one of the best decisions I have taken in the last couple of days. Now that it is almost dawn, I need to get some much needed sleep before I venture out in the morning for my examination. Both events are important for me. Now that one has seen a happy ending, I hope this one tomorrow shall end in the same manner. Cheers.

Dear Stranger,

We've shared a one sided relationship over the past few years. It began for us in 2003 when I started my first blog. A few years later I decided against it due to two chief reasons- I wasn't a regular and my writing credentials were best portrayed in my diaries. Somehow the idea of seeing my neat handwritten journals gave me a far greater sense of satisfaction than Microsoft word ever could. It seemed (and still does) to me a feat I achieved minus automatic spell checks and grammatical corrections; a very important one at that and one which I carry till date.

Back in the blog industry for a second time, this was supposed to be my secret haven. A much needed outlet to pour my deepest thoughts. Regrets I may have, anger I may want to unleash, opinions I may want to make and hidden feelings I might want to express. Things haven't exactly worked out according to plan. Strange as it may sound, I feel a constant fear of being judged according to my writings. As a result, these posts represent only a decent chunk of what I may have liked to say otherwise. I constantly keep you in mind. You may or may not know me but it does not stop me from getting paranoid nonetheless. So if you are here today hoping to know my deepest secrets, don't bother to read further. Technology can only get you this far.
