THE IMPONDERABILIA OF EVERYDAY EXISTENCE

March 30, 2012

.. And March is almost over

I think in the past couple of months, this must be the longest I've gone without updating my blog. Not a lot happening at my front really. This week I was able to spend some quality time at my supervisor's office. I submitted my fourth chapter too which means I am almost there. Also filled up all pending forms for the fellowship and mess rebate plus paid the bills so I am all set to go home next week. This trip should be an exciting one. Speaking of trips, my cousin's holiday went by in a jiffy. A whole month. Poof. She must be unpacking and cleaning her house one room at a time. I know the feeling when you fly thousands of miles away from your loved ones. But, on the bright side, she has a family there as well so she is home wherever she goes. I have managed to finish my packing even though I still have four days to go. This time I don't have extras to take (atleast not yet) so my bag feels a bit empty and yes, I am relieved. I need to be back in May for a week to ten days so it needs to be planned soon enough. Wow, I can't believe that is a degree completed already! Two years flew by just like that.

Tonight I am giving some finishing touches to the article for the local daily. I also have another write up on Sikkimese cuisine for a travel guide-book so that features next on my agenda. Things are looking good for me right now. Life seems to be on the right track. Until I get the urge to write again, cheers.
