I prayed and prayed and prayed. Finally the voices echoed loud and clear. The thunder followed by lightening, the breeze flowing through my curtains. My thoughts drifted to the rain gods. “Dear god, I hope this isn’t some kind of a sadistic joke yet again. Thirty full minutes of the element is all I ask.”
Tonight I shall revere in the moment. A monsoon night transported from the hills.
