All those years I have been super excited about the NET results, I could never understand how I had failed to qualify. When I finally got to check my break up one time, I had scored extremely well in the first two papers. It was the third paper which had proved to be the bottle neck. One mark! Who wants to sit for another round of three papers all thanks to one freaking mark?! But I was left with no choice. I had to stand in queue for the bank receipt, required signatures and other formalities because I couldn't give up without a good fight.
This morning when I was sweeping the floor, I got a call from an unexpected friend. Her first words were "Congratulations babyla". I was surprised at first, later she told me that I should check the NET results and confirm my qualification. This is one news I have waited for for close to two years now. I needed to clear it in order to restore that faith and belief in myself, that I can do this! It was such a privilege and honour to call up my folks to relay the wonderful news, individually.
One by one, the pieces of the puzzle are fitting in. I am extremely happy to say that I crossed this bridge. Finally.
