Forget money, fame, love etc. etc. The one goal behind every emotion, every effort is basically a shot at happiness. I am right up there so far as this quotient goes. I made quite a number of people smile in one day. Today.
My day in brief: It started with a quick visit to the hospital for some final signatures, after which I went to drop the so-called 'princess dress'. Unfortunately my model was semi-conscious so I have postponed the photoshoot for a later date. Then an ever enthusiastic me prepared momos for a few close ones. Post cooking, I decided to clean up my brother's room which is always a challenge for an OCD freak. The next hour or more was spent watching an old Nepali movie which surprisingly got the better of me, so much so that I didn't even want to leave the house for my next chore. Sadly I had to request my tiny Lepcha partner to continue watching alone and to update me on the ending later in the evening. Thereon, I made a quick stopover at my Aunt's place, met one of my closest brothers, drove all the way to the famous Basant Bhaiya for some aloo chura to be delivered to my under-cover friend in the red hood from my last post. That done, I spent some time with my boyfriend. We actually decided to dilly dally in big bazar before heading for a quick Tata sky recharge and a hunt for a hardware store. When I got back, my dimples were on display.
I will now go to sleep knowing there are a few out there feeling a little special tonight.
And the same applies to me too.
