THE IMPONDERABILIA OF EVERYDAY EXISTENCE

Happy anniversary

I want to begin this post with two words "Happy Anniversary".

My parents celebrate their wedding anniversary today. Thirty three years of togetherness. Phew. They remind me that I have a long way to go. We have been narrated quite a few incidents from the past -- the times Dad pursued Mum after office hours, his visit to Phodong for the Kha-chang wherein he was instructed by his would be bride to walk behind the rest but chose to lead the team instead, starting their married life from a tiny room in Arithang, to a quarter in Syari and finally graduating to our present home for the last twenty years.

There are two keys to a lasting marriage: respect and communication. Together they have built a life and alongwith it gave meaning to ours. We are the dots that connect different stories. It has been an absolute privilege growing up under their guidance and today is just an occassion to thank them for the same. May the bond grow stronger by the day. I love you both so much.
