THE IMPONDERABILIA OF EVERYDAY EXISTENCE

A Sunday stroll

We ran into some of my seniors :)
Today was an absolute delight of a day. My heavily pregnant sister was here for the night so I decided to take her out for a stroll to the new amusement park which has come up in Ranka. The thirty minute ride stretched to an hour because of the road condition. Once there, I was pleasantly surprised with the place. It seems like finally families can have a decent place for recreation, a day out. If only my niece could have been there with us to have fun in the open. She has grown up so much in the past few months. She understands perfectly well what adults are talking about and some of her remarks amaze me. The other day she told me that she wanted to read out from her text book and I sat there with her while she spoke about firefighters in her accentuated voice. It was a pleasure dwelling in that moment. Later we proceeded to completing jigsaw puzzles and drawing and colouring.

Sometimes it feels like the years were only minutes. One moment I was holding her in my arms and the very next she is all grown up and showing me the road to her tuition classes. The circle of life. Once upon a time I was her and now she becomes me.
