For a few days I kept wondering if things are finally going to sink in and before I knew it, it did. You are right, we should never plan things because when the unexpected happens, it surprises you in ways not imagined. When things start with a bang, it normal fizzles out in no time. Now that this phase is starting off at a slower pace, it feels good. I am positive about a lot of things. Last Saturday night will be remembered for the experience we had at the hospital, among other things. For starters, I danced for a good while. This was in stark contrast to the night out last week wherein I sat huddled in the second seat of a Scorpio. Who knew things would change so much within a matter of seven days?! I would have loved to write in detail about the Manipal experience but it wouldn't be fair on the patient. This will be our memory -- the five who were in the car that night.
In the next few weeks, I have to get back to my research and soon enough that will be out of the way too. The concern for the moment are the results due next week. Once I have some confirmation of the same, I will be able to relax a bit. Right now I am suffering from a sore throat and cold as a result of inadequate sleep and a long Sunday. I need to get better before I head back. I will not venture out for any social callings once in the capital, save a couple (if they plan to head North west at all!). It is about time I hit the books yet again.
