THE IMPONDERABILIA OF EVERYDAY EXISTENCE

Zumba

A week of Zumba has changed the way I feel about my body. Yes, the aches are horrible but, surprisingly, it hasn't been as bad as the times I have resumed jogging after the scorching summer in JNU. All the stretching exercises, especially around my abs causes a little strain but I think I will be okay in a week's time. Having been actively involved in sports throughout my school and college days, I feel really glad to have taken this initiative. For those of you who have heard about Zumba but never quite understood how it really works, Zumba is a dance workout regime. The fact that we are burning calories to the tune of the latest chartbusters adds a new found enthusiasm in the lazy and unmotivated. Normally, waking up in the wee hours for jogging was an option which did not materialize for the better part of the month but nowadays it is a different story. More than losing weight, my intention is to remain fit. I could feel my body turning lethargic after all the warm hospitality that is home. Now I feel a like the old Cyden is back.
