THE IMPONDERABILIA OF EVERYDAY EXISTENCE

Car wash

8:30 a.m. and I’m seated right in front of a barber’s shop. Its almost rush time and everyone is on a run. Cars go up. Cars go down. I see a Chevrolet Uva smoothly drive into the petrol pump right opposite me.

Ten minutes of staring at the car being washed and I get this sudden realization. That how similar our lives are to the car being washed. Ten minutes back the car was a dirt rack and within a matter of a few minutes it is already starting to gleam under the sun.

Life is pretty much similar to the above mentioned. We walk along and, over the years, collect a lot of dust and grime. Every once in a while we go through a transition phase and start all over again. Such phases come aplenty in one's lifetime.

Now the car is as good as brand new and making its way into the highway where it will join its counterparts and merge along the way. Until the next wash again.
