Two weeks ago I sat huddled in my minus fifteen room. I ate alone, walked alone, slept alone, woke up every morning to be greeted by an empty house and had random monologues with myself ever so often. Today I sit here soaking the sun in the lawn in front of my ancestral home, a little less than three hours away from the bustling capital. I don't have a single rupee in my wallet, I am an educated unemployed youth and every day passes wondering what's next? Yet I never felt more content or happy.
Whoever said money can't buy you happiness didn't know where to shop: Unknown
Wrong saying. Wrong theory.
True happiness comes from within. Happiness derived from money is just a short term delusion. Keeping all the religious and philosophical books at bay, this is one of the lessons I have learnt through personal experience in a short span.
