THE IMPONDERABILIA OF EVERYDAY EXISTENCE

The flickering light

When two special hearts met, an amazing bond was formed.
The initial days of laughter gave way to some days of grey,
Small quarrels always ended in a big hug
And two lights flickered in the distant every night.
Over time a couple of thousand miles crept in
One heart so full of love, the other filled with lust,
The heart full of love got a beating from the one with lust.
Now the bond lies shattered, the heart in pieces of three,
Sometimes the darkness that lies within needs some sort of a light
to show the brightness lost.
And so a single light flickers in the dark every night,
Waiting for the morning to arrive,
And drive away her fears.
